Video Ad Storyboard Template
Copy the storyboard fields
Create one row per shot: shot number; approximate duration; visual or action; spoken line; on-screen text; audio; asset source; rights status; production note. Add a destination and end-card note at the top of the document.
- Shot 1: introduce the customer situation with a recognisable visual.
- Shot 2: demonstrate the relevant product or service action.
- Shot 3: explain the decision information or answer an objection.
- Shot 4: show the next step and accurate brand identity.
An illustrative landing-page storyboard
Shot 1 shows a mobile visitor looking for contact information. Shot 2 shows the actual service page and enquiry fields. Shot 3 shows a clearly labelled test confirmation. Shot 4 invites the viewer to explore the service. Use demonstration data, not a real customer’s personal details. The example shows a workflow and does not claim an increase in conversions.
Approve before production
Check that every shot has a available asset or a defined creation task. Confirm captions, safe areas and crop requirements for each placement. Record which elements may be AI generated and which must reproduce the real product accurately. Review the script, storyboard and claim evidence together so the editor does not have to invent proof or change the offer to fill a missing shot.
