AI Video Localization Checklist

Localizing an AI video means adapting its meaning and offer for the intended audience. Translation alone does not resolve differences in pronunciation, pricing, delivery or customer expectations.

Prepare the market brief

Name the language, region, audience and reviewing person. Confirm that the promoted service is actually available in that market and that the destination page supports the same promise.

  • Language: terminology, idiom and names reviewed by a competent speaker.
  • Numbers: dates, currency, units and spoken amounts checked.
  • Offer: availability, delivery and important conditions match the market.
  • Visuals: captions and on-screen text fit after translation.
  • Rights: voice and media permissions cover the intended region and use.

Test a difficult passage first

Use a short sample containing the brand name, a price, a location and the main call to action. Have the reviewer check pronunciation and meaning, not only whether the voice sounds fluent. An illustrative English script may need fewer spoken points in another language to remain comfortable at the same duration; rewriting can be better than accelerating the voice.

Check every final variant

Review audio and captions together on a phone. Confirm the destination URL, contact process and local offer details. Keep a version matrix by language and aspect ratio so outdated captions are not paired with new narration. Use the same approved source message, but allow genuine linguistic adaptation. Never claim native-language support or local offices that the business cannot actually provide.
