Why Your Website Is Not Showing on Google
Check discovery and access
Use Search Console for the verified property and inspect a representative URL. Confirm the final production URL loads, returns the intended status and is not blocked by authentication or accidental noindex. Check canonical selection and the actual sitemap contents.
- Not discovered: improve internal links and submit a valid sitemap.
- Crawled but not indexed: inspect content usefulness, duplication and canonical signals.
- Indexed but rarely shown: review search intent, relevance and the competitive landscape.
- Impressions without clicks: review the query, position, title and page promise together.
Investigate one page end to end
An illustrative service page may exist in the sitemap but have no internal links and nearly the same content as another page. Adding more slugs does not solve either issue. Make the page useful, connect it from an appropriate hub and retain one clear canonical destination for its intent. Avoid changing URLs repeatedly while diagnosing visibility.
Track the next signal
Record what was fixed and when. Check Search Console for subsequent discovery, indexing and query changes rather than repeatedly submitting the same URL and expecting immediate rankings. A sitemap submission is a discovery aid, not a guarantee. If a manual action or security issue is reported, address the specific finding through the official process. Use measured evidence before assuming the entire domain is penalised.
